It is important for pilgrims to come with a cooperative mindset to face problems of harsh weather conditions. Our Company will do everything to keep our client’s content. But still Guests should be mentally and physically prepared for the basic accommodation in the yatra and should not mind the challenges that may arise once the journey commences.
Weather conditions from May to September in this region of Uttaranchal, can be expected to be rainy and cold. Day time temperatures can be as high as 20 degrees centigrade. The average daily temperature will be 15 degrees centigrade, however, the intense sun at high altitude can make it feel even hotter.
This is an environment related condition that can affect anyone who ascends too rapidly to high elevations without acclimatizing properly. Please read any book on trekking which has a chapter on this and also consult your doctor.
Accommodation in these places is very basic without any modern amenities. In Kathgodam / Haldwani, Pithoragarh and Chaukori our hotel accommodation will be in very basic non a/c rooms on twin sharing basis. While in Nabhi / Gunji and Narayan Ashram our accommodation will be in homestays or KMVN guest houses with group accommodation in one room.
We will be providing pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked by locals in dhabas of Uttaranchal. You will be required to bring sufficient supplementary food like chocolates, biscuits, nuts, pickles, chutneys and your favorite tinned products to add variety to the meals.
We recommend that you insure yourself against sickness, EMERGENCY RESCUE, accident hospitalization, etc. We are not liable and responsible for any damages or extra expenses that may arise from mishaps and the loss of their belongings during the pilgrimage.
The last place to make any calls is in Gunji, Uttaranchal. However, please be informed that it may be difficult at times to get the connection. Wi-Fi

Clothing for both extremes of climate and temperature. While driving to Adikailash, it will be warm inside the vehicle and light clothing will be required, but as soon as you step out of the vehicle, warm clothing will be required to keep off the cold winds.
Also called Mini or Chota Kailas, Adi Kailas can be visited on the way to the famous Kailas near Mansarovar in Tibet.
Passengers can travel by Train or by Flight to reach Kathgodam/Pant Nagar.
Kathgodam / Haldwani to Dharchula & return journey will be covered by non a/c tempo traveler bus. However, the remaining whole journey from Dharchula will be done by a 4x4 Mahendra pickup camper jeep.
Parikrama done in 1 day. It is 3 kilometer trek, can be done by walking or on pony.
1 liter per person but it should be kept in luggage and not in hand bag.
3000 to 4000 Rs. per person. Pony and porter will be with you who will carry your small bag.
